HOW TO WORK REMOTELY WITH YOUR VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

Updated: Aug 12, 2020

A full time 'in house' assistant is not always necessary. Working with your virtual assistant has never been easier due to the advanced communication channels we all have access to, 24/7.

Telephone

Telephone communication is advantageous because it allows for immediate personal response, is interactive, facilitates long distance communication and can be used to convey confidential information. If urgent, its quicker to pick up the phone rather than spend time typing out an email to your virtual assistant.

Voice Noting

The era of voice texting is upon us. You either love it or hate it. It's the voicemail / texting in between and many are preferring to send a voice note via WhatsApp to communicate quickly and effectively. If signal drops, it automatically sends once signal is restored.

Video Conferencing

The obvious advantage of video-conference is participants avoid having to spend time travelling to meet each other. The disadvantages of video-conferencing are: A high bandwidth communication link is required to transmit and receive high quality images. Some clients prefer face to face communication, others do not always have the time and prefer quicker means of communicating with their virtual assistant.

Email

Communicating by email is almost instantaneous, which enhances communications by quickly disseminating information and providing fast response to customer inquiries. It also allows for quicker problem-solving and more streamlined business processes.

With so many communication channels on offer, working with your virtual assistant has never been easier.

The future is virtual.
